What do you guys use for getting the outer plastics on the clocks up to scratch,also the switch gears ,what produts /paints in your opinions are best. ;D

Lots of prep, 320 grit lots of filler primer, Lots more prep, 600 grit Grey primer, Burgundy scotch pad. Satin black paint of choice. ( I can personally recommend Halfords own )
That's what I did any way .....................

switchgear im looking at a gloss or satin black powdercoat they look very good just a b*****d putting the wiring back in ive got new clock covers and whatever i use.cant get a shine must be a duller type of plastic used

i tend to use halfords bumper paint ,find it has a very nice hard wearing finish . Used it on both clocks and switch gear here

Their vinyl and rubber care product is excellent for this too.
