Hi Guys maybe this is a dumb ass question but here goes engine is out and barrels and heads are off if i seal up the lowerpart of the engine where the con rods come out could i get it vapour blasted ,running a bit scared to split the engine and take out all the doings or is it easy any help please

I think the likelyhood of getting away with it is slim.
My advice would be to either carefully clean the casings by hand whilst still assembled or bite the bullet and strip it all the way down.
It's not just the crank you'll be jeopardising, it'll be the oil seals etc etc.
You only need a tiny amount of class dust where it shouldn't be and your engine will last about 10 minutes after you put it back together as it'll quickly turn to lapping paste.
It's an all or nothing situation I'm afraid dude!

It is a full strip down i'm afraid. I have tried various methods of sealing openings but the beads always get in. It's not worth the risk.

Thanks for the advice want a good job on the engine casings so looks like a strip down with plenty of pictures and a Haynes manual once again thanks
