Hi All
Rebuild went together, but now have a leaking fuel tank around the rear seam. The tank overall is in great condition with good paint so I am looking to use a sealer. However, I've heard that some tank sealers react badly to the ethanol that is now put into petrol. Anyone know or have used a good sealer that is OK with modern day unleaded?

i think the only sealer worth using is POR15. i found the ypvs tanks to be made of tissue paper though once u start grinding etc the holes just get bigger u could do wot nuts says above if u have the skills or means.I got the local blacksmith to tig my 125 tank up and that was in a right mess and he didnt charge much either

This is the product I have used with excellent results www.tankcure.nl/Engels/introuk.html At the Stafford show I had a long chat (with the guy who I buy mine off) about the effects from ethanol and he assures me that tests have been carried out with this product and guarantees its stability with up to 3X more ethanol per gallon
