ok, having used an FZR400 rear wheel, I need to use a ypvs rear sprocket. I notice from everywhere I look, that the YPVS has a 525 chain and the LC a 530. why??? - why is the more powerful bike with the longer chain got the weaker specification chain?? is there any problem using a 525 on an LC??? where can I get a 525 spec front sprocket for a 4L0?? the slightly thinner chain would help with clearance (yes I know its miniscule, but every little helps) further investigation... would a 520 cope? Ta ALex

Ta ALex I think you'll find all the YPVS models were fitted with 520 gauge chain as standard OEB

I'm running a 520 chain on my 4L0, got it fitted when rear disc conversion done last year, no problems with chain stretch or wear, lot better then the monster 530 that was on there.
