hi guys taken the bike off the road for the winter.have done a few jobs that were niggling to get done first job repaint rear wheel,sprocket carrier and brake drum had a spare rear muddy in a lot better nick than the original so fitted that while the wheel was out gave the swing arm a good clean.altered the shocker setting aswell fitted a new freshly powder coated centre stand next job is to refurb the master cylinder and calipers.will start that in the morning

lookin good andy, i feel sorry for you blokes having to pack up for winter, on my XJ i just do an oil change for winter, from 15-50 down to 10-40 and im done, in fact i prefer winter as its nice and cool, but then again you lot have castles and stuff, i like castles.

Andy... Im biased I have a Gully for mine... but I like both pretty much equally. I would keep them both and just use what you feel you want for any ride. I would think any passenger would prefer the standard one of course...

i like the standard myself, i got the gully but changed my mind, but having said that both do look good.

Personally i prefer the gully, but as the rest of the bike is so original, i can't help thinking that the original suits the bike more?!

Doing the brakes now Pics coming up.just want to know whether I can reuse the copper washers? Can you anneal them?

Mate i strongly advise AGAINST using the old washers They are quite cheap and as its for your brakes use new ones

Butch says use em Norbo charges 50p each :0 @£12 do the brakes with newuns
