hi guys im building a new workshop(pics and thread when complete) and want to buy a new bench polisher can anyone with one recommend what i,ll need hp etc ebay or machine mart? cheers nigel

dont think it really matters m8.as long as the mops fit on and it spins nice and fast

£253 doods thats a lot .
Just get a 3/4 H/P 8" bench grinder leave the stone on the other side for torqe " its handy as well .
Dont get a 6" they dont have the power and dont get a 1 HP one as the RPM almost halfs and you wont get the revs to build up speed to get the heat you need to polish .
I think i payed about £55 for my one and £8 for the mop spindel .

I'm just building a new shed as well, wondering wether to stick some machines in it (drills/grinders/welders etc) or just use it for my bikes?? can't wait to see the pics, been doing mine for ages now, I'm johnny no mates, so it's all got to be done be me on my lonesome

rdnut if you look at that motor to the one i was looking at they be the same motor speed, hp, etc ..1/3 of price.... aaron ha ha 250watt 1/3 hp no thanks.....
