Im fitting my LC with RGV forks and of course need to wort the lock stops. So looking at it, I can either weld a larger tab to the frame, or i can make use of some bolts thru the existing stops on the lower triple clamp (in fact the previous owner has already drilled the holes for bolts in the stops already which is nice).
So what did you guys do to fix this problem? And do you have any pics?

well if ur frame is freshly powdercoated id go with bolts but if not id weld new 1's on ...

Grind off the old stops, drill & tap M8, simples

Loving the reuse of the footrest hanger! haha. Ok, will have a gander at what i can reuse in the garage, I must have something that will do this job, im a box of useful scrap plus plenty of bike parts... Cheers Nick, as ever m8!
