This might help found it and copied it from the Rgv 250 forum.
Classic Bike Trackdays is a new trackday company started by myself and a friend after we kept being asked to organise trackdays for other friends with their strokers and older road & race bikes that wouldn’t be dominated by loons on track-prepped R1s or the latest race rep hot off the showroom floor!
With 14 years knowledge of organising trackdays throughout the UK and Europe (Spa) and the classic bike scene in general we’ve decided to bite the bullet this year, so our events are open to anyone with a bike built before 1995 (or considered to be within the spirit of our events) whether a Jap stroker or big oil-cooled dinosaur etc. Each trackday will have limited numbers of places available so it’s not overrun, and all being run in 20 minute sessions alongside similar bikes from the same decade or capacity wherever possible.
We’ll also have several facilities available on the day; • Professional tuition from our team of ACU qualified instructors. This will be free to novices at the start of the day and then available to the more experience riders if required • Onsite dyno available in the paddock for riders and those coming along to spectate… if you fancy organising a ride out to the trackday • Pro trackside photography making you look as good as Rossi on your favourite corner, and you’ll be able to take away a CD of images before you leave • We’ve also arranged for track insurance including ‘like for like cover’ for modified bikes with specialist insurance broker Pace Ward
There are three events at great circuits across the UK for 2011 all with the above facilities: • Saturday 28th May – Llandow: £99 • Friday 29th July – Cadwell Park (with Practical Sportsbikes magazine): £129 • Friday 30th September – Teesside Autodrome: £89
Thanks to Sean for approaching me about offering our events as official RGV Forum trackdays – we’re confident we can deliver and look forward to doing as much as possible for RGV Forum members. Sean is going to create a new thread for each trackday so the chat about these events stays together, so if you have any questions just post on the relevant thread or call us on 08451 25 26 46
There are a few options if you’d like to book: • Call us on 08451 25 26 46 (local rate) with your card details • Paypal: just send the fee to info@classicbiketrackdays.com • Send a cheque along with a completed booking form – if you’re real old skool! All bookings will receive a PDF info pack via email prior to the trackday with all the details you’ll need, but all the info is available on the website too.
The focus of these CBT / RGV Forum trackdays is simple; that you have a great day on track (and in the paddock) with other similar bikes and like-minded owners, and leave buzzing with adrenalin and gagging for the next one!
