Morrisons are a bunch of c**ts anyway go to Sainsburys it's free to park. Keep the ticket & let them take you to court, it's only your word against the little fashist car park attendant. One of my pet hate's having to pay to go in the shop you want to buy stuff from anyway just another way to rob us.

Ignore it,its a cival matter with the company and the driver of the vehicle at the time, you as the registered keeper have no legal requirement to inform them who that was ..... the clue is in the wording on the notice, parking charge is from a private company trying it on,penalty notice is from the council or police, this you cant ignore ..... file it in the bin and avoid all future correspondance, they cant do nowt to you ,if in doubt have a look on peppipoo web site, lots of info regarding this.

i would get legal advice before ignoring that ticket, or you could be paying hundreds in court Like i say look on peppipoo web site, buts its a common thing for these private parking companies to dress up these fines to look all official, threaten you with court injunctions, bayliffs etc,in reality they cant do sod all, rely on people getting frightened and paying up ..... if the council ticket you its a different matter, thats a penalty notice as stated on the ticket, these clowns mark theirs as parking notice, smoke and mirrors.

some places like supermarkets mcdonalds etc have a time limit for parking, to stop people just dumping their cars there all day, they employ these private companies to monitor what cars overstay this limit, and note you can get caught by simply going to the same place twice in the same day as it can ignore the time you leave on the first visit and then return for the second, so it records the initial time you arrived and then the last time you left, so appears you have been there for hours .... then with your registration they apply to the dvla for your details, which the dvla will happily supply for a small fee if you can show good reason for it ...... then they chase you for payment Or in the op's case it seems he paid for a valid ticket and they still want to fine him ......
