also wanted the little brackets that hold the fairing to the fairing bracket swapps or beer tokens got 125 mk 2 or 3 in bits

now thats a nice little project you have there, my mk1 was no near as good as that when i first got it. a bit of cosmetic elbow grease and you will end up with a proper minter.

speaking as an expert on f##k all !!! that looks a good old bus.... amazing what you still can find.. hope to see you out on it to see how well it goes,might have to tune mine to keep up

What is it with the 125`s ? Are they designed to take 15 stone riders Chez, as far as the parts go ...try martinharvey of this forum...not sure if he is breaking one or getting ready to put one together ?

I had one of those was quick for a 125 95mph no problem! still prefer the mk1's though!

Martin, yours is the early type (obviously cause its the first production 1GU ;D). It differs from chez's bike because the later ones were fitted with coolant pipes that run from the head to the carb and back They early type also had Mk2 style wheels and the later had gold wheels Hope that helps mate, nothing to worry about you #0101 bike is as it should be Adam

Ahaha, why is variable exhaust port timing so exciting lol This time I'm going to make a proper job of my 125 Gaz so I can trust it to come out on runs with the other stroker lads

i blanked the pipes off to carb on mine bad move..it is there to warm the carb up to prevent "icing!!" i am running clear lines on mine!!! ;D ;D ;D Like i ride in the cold weather

It is a stupid idea, presumably every time you want to work on the carb you end up with coolant pissing everywhere. Can see why it didn't catch on

But carb warming will improve vapourisation of fuel! And quite a few bikes have it!
