Had the same kickstart problem on my Lc2 hybrid. Got an alloy kicker on it and had to make up a brake lever without the offset in it.
How much does it hit by, can you cut down the lever toe peg a bit?

I'd wait and check again with new kickstart as I thought they were fine with the standard one, are you sure it was a proper lc kicker?
Failing that 10mm should still leave enough of a toe peg.

just had a thought, are the footplate mount brackets bent in, this may make the pedal sit further out. If you slacken the bolts and move the footplate out a bit does it clear then?
