anorak bike must be a ribbed top yoke tbh...must be satin silver but must admit corf's yoke looks nice but incorrect for a NOS bike. just i perfer the look, like my mk3 should have gold wheels, dont like the gold wheels,

can you bang on mk3 top yolks to mk1s in order to have the clip on bars and chrome headlight brks ect?

can you bang on mk3 top yolks to mk1s in order to have the clip on bars and chrome headlight brks ect? simple answer is no mk1 forks have thinner santions so the mk3 yolk would not clamp up tight against the mk1 forks. personaly i would keep it standard and buy some drop bars to fit the mk1 handle bar clamps unless you fancy doing a whole front end swap

front end swaps are easy...however steering lock wont work due the stop on frame in a deifferent place and the clocks will need to be changed.headlight bracket the lot also....not easy but do able though if you can find all the parts in decent nick. loads of stuff just came on ebay and if you lot round here don't bid for em i might be in with a chance ;D
