>:(must be some rite of passage like in kung fu where he picks up the pot of ashes, but tried removing my front wheel bearings. got the feeling the last wazzock glued them in with bearing glue. tried knocking them out, started cutting them out then gave up and did the washing up. :-[is heating the wheel a better bet or carefully cutting them out??? lovely

why both sides each way? - i know there is nothing really keeping them in,(except possibly the glue), but dubious of just whacking them until something gives

no............not both sides.u have to knock them from the inside of the wheel towards the outside..so u have to go through one to get to the inner side of the other one.but u need to hit it at opposites.......if ya get wot i mean or it wont come out square

Yep....heating is the way to go mate Knock em' out with a piece of thick dowel rather than using a chisel or something metal. Good luck

got the buggers out at last, were loctited in as thought - was looking forward to stripping paint but ran out of nitromors damn!!
