Hi, Hadn't touched the Hybrid for a while as other things got in the way. I got the crank rebuilt at PJME in Wolverhampton, and started buying the various gaskets and seals from Granby's for the rebuild; It all went together easily enough. The head will get bolted down once I have saved enough for some of Norbo's stainless head bolts . I also modded and fitted my stainless Gibsons I originally bought for my Lc2 but are now on the Hybrid. These pipes were on Clive's YPVS. Clive is the welder/other half of Gibsons, and these were one-offs that he built for his bike to show case what Gibsons can do; The clutch casing is now at the powdercoaters being done in gloss black and I am still thinking about getting an Lc genny cover to replace the Ypvs plastic one. Jury is still out on that one! Dusty

Hi, Long time since I updated this thread. Done a few bits and bobs although it doesn't look a lot different; I drilled a 3mm hole in the thermostat to act as a coolant bypass so hopefully wont have any issues with that. Genuine Yam throttle cable has been fitted, and the gearbox oil added. I have fitted the F2 loom and managed to get it to work with the Lc clock wiring. Fitted some mini indicators, and had to make a rear bracket for the indys so they could clear the numberplate. Also fitted the drive chain. After reading lots of threads about the nightmares regarding powerjet carb setups, I have just got some 31k carbs. These need cleaning so they will go off to CC carb cleaning in Guildford when I get the chance. Still need to bleed the brakes, add water to the cooling system and fill up the oil tank, then I can fire her up (hopefully !) Dusty

Hi, Turnaround time on the cases was about 3 hours !! I ring before I go, drop them off, go and get a coffee and do some shopping, and they are done when I get back I use R.D.Cox in Reading and they've done my bike stuff for years. Dusty

Update time. I haven't done anything to this hybrid in ages, what with doing the Yamasaki. The white bodywork was put onto my KR hybrid and sold to fund the Ducati 900 SS I bought, and I kept the Yellow paint set as the tank is mint inside. I bought some Procool off ebay and filled the system up, put some premix in the tank and she fired third kick. Ticks over nicely and the Gibsons are relatively quiet. This is the first time this engine has run and it sounds good. Revs nice and clean and ticks over easily, so I am pleased. Brakes will need bleeding next and the last big expense will be a respray.
