youre right, mellow the pic is pretty poor, the problem is the iiner lip where the drums have rubbed the wheel has a piece missing about 5-6mm deep and about three inches long. do you reckon this could be a danger to the wheels stability??

got a set of new bearings ready to go in.. - just watched your rebuild vid. wish mine would come together in four minutes. meant to do something this evening but its too damn cold and dark!

the rd range looks great - my brother used to proddy race them years ago which is where i first fell in love with them, but arent bikes meant to evolve in their style? - not just that finding original parts can be bloody expensive at times!!

this is the first bike i've rebuilt - got it from a complete chav who reckoned "he'd got it up to 95 on the link road". strange that as there was no oil in the engine and there was water peeing out of the water pump seal. every thing i take apart or remove throws up another prob. still cant wait to get the bugger running though!!
