On my way to the Anglesea bike show, with my lad on the back. Doing about 60 when there was a funny noise and the bike lost power. pulled the clutch in and coasted to the side of the road. No compression on the engine and a knock if you push the kick start Call recovery out but they couldn't pick the bike up until 1 lane was closed by the police so 3 hours after setting off I'm back home. I'm going to strip it tomorrow to find out what's gone. Going to the pub tonight

so you was the one holding up the traffic!!!...poor b*****d...not a good way to wean the young uns on to 2 strokes either ...in my expert opinion i would say ...its broke ...oh well...a yamaha jigsaw puzzle beats sudoku chris...at least you've got us to take the piss mate ...luv ya!

Could be a hole or a ring find out today, don't think it seized I've got a complete 250 top end if ya want it...was gonna keep it as a spare in case my original goes bang Good to have you back baggy ;D I will let you know regarding the top end and thanks for the offer ;D should i laugh ;D that sucks m8 Oh how I laughed at the end of a hour and a half of playin "I spy" with Josh on the side of the road ;D

Its bad............very very bad The big end bearing on the left hand side has disappeared! bottom of the piston skirt has smashed off bits of melted metal and metal chips all over the place its going to need some money spending on it these bits came out of the left pipe when I took it off
