Can i make a suggestion.
Would it be possible for a sub board to show what part of another bike will fit a specific Lc or ypvs model. also stating if it's a direct fit or what mods required to get it to fit.
E.G. Rgv 250 m forks and yokes will fit a RD350LC if you put a 5mm spacer under bottom yoke bearing and bottom yoke lock stops will need to be relocated to suit the lc frame lock stops.
Would stop a lot of repost asking the same q's over and over.
Not that i or am sure more knowledgable lc/ypvs builders mind sharing there knowledge of mods.
Just would be handy for guys looking answers without waiting for a reply.
If it were viable, We could have a sub board with a topic for each model of LC and YPVS which are read only and locked to moderaters to add content to. To add your tuppence worth would need it to be ok'd before been added.
What's the thoughts on this guys n' gals

Yea I think it's a great idea, like a library of guides and info. And yes I agree, the threads should be locked and only there purely for informational purpose, and if there is something wrong with the info, a moderator can add it.

Yup. I know about that sub board. Good link for Wiring, Carburation, Jetting, etc. But not exactly what i meant and i'd never have dreamt of looking in there for compatibilities of other bike parts to fit LC / YPVS as there's none in there anyway. Still think a seperate sub board for dedicated to the subject would be ideal for numpties (like me) know exactly what fits what. But if it need to go in the tecnical info link. So be it. Cheers.

you mean like my kr1s/lc bike which instead of fitting the kr1s yokes which involve a stem swap(i think) i used rgv250 vj21 yokes as they have the same dia forks and width is the same and is a piece of piss to fit to an lc frame.

The problem is it could start looking a bit messy with lots of boards and sub bords. But a sub in this section with compatabilitys and mods coul be helpfull .
So have you volenteared to fined this stuff and put it in the sub boared as you come accross it. are you wiling to take on the job.
there is a caliper ;ist some were of what fits direct on to an F2 leg . some were

My knowledge of what fits what is limited.
I think it would be best if peeps that have done the mods with success and pics submit to moderators by PM their input.
The moderators then add the content to the topic
I would help, no problem at all. As i'm sure all the guys and gals will where possible.
But it should deffo be in the Hybrids section and locked to moderators only to stop it getting silly
So i suppose first step is for Norbo to creat the sub board !
