Id love 2 say an RD500/ RS250 comby, (went to order some bits from local dealer, guy on parts counter was spot on, n one of their engineers has got one as a race bike, and anouther 2 for spares!!! Git) But it's actually my other bike, a TRX850, a very underated bike. (the pipes sounded great goin through the Mount Blanc Tunnel ;D ;D) Will have more room when me mate Tuno n tailer go to their new home need some more draws though, the ones in the pic are full of TRX spares ;D ;D ;D

i was supprised how well it handeled the alps with luggage (preload was on full ) yup the engine is the similar, bigger bore and a 270 deg crank to give a "V twin feel) i like the fact that when im ridin it, i feel like i'm actually usin it, rather than the bigger CC twins, feel like ur cruzin even when ur tryin, the drive outa the bend is sooo adictive , and if you glue an R1 front end in, the handelin is superb. plus it's nice to know that ur likly to be the only 1 in the bike park AND it's on £200 fully comp with legal n breakdown, that includes the RD as 2nd bike!

Plenty of work still to do, best of luck. Agree 100% re the TRX 850, an absolutely magic bike, and massively underated. Only got the LC at the mo, but when I have the pennies I want either an XJR1200 or a TRX 850. Seriously jealous about your workshop, I'm jammed into a corner of our garage between the kids bikes and the coal bunker.

Bummer!!, bought a set on ebay coz it was cheaper than gettin mine re sealed, but when i collected them they were worse than the ones i have, so backed outa the deal coz they were sold as ready to go. so now the orig set are with BSD for refurb.
need to find some srews to hold the pannels, yam want £1 each!!
pipes are std, but painted black coz i guess the end cans are dented / rusty, will replace when good ones / funds turn up
