Hi everyone, I'm new to the site, and i'm in the middle of rebuilding a 250lc.I've got two 250 engines, one running in the frame, the others on the bench which i'm gonna convert to a 350. I've got 350 barrels and pistons, but do i have to change the 250 carbs, or just re-jet the carbs?? Will 350 ypvs carbs do the job? or do they have to be 350lc carbs (non ypvs).Any help would be gratefully received. thanks Russ.

Hi Russ. Welcome to the site.
You can run with 250 carbs but 350 or ypvs would be better. They do race on 250 carbs as they give more midrange. But on a road bike id go ypvs any will do 31k or 1ua carbs. What ever you use you will have to rejet to soot the bike . TZR 250 KR1 and RD A/C carbs are all ok and are 28mm.

You will have to change the little end as well with a 350 top end the 250 one is to small.
