Really nice, plates around the head stock were more than likley there to brace that area of the frame, poss ex race bike?

thanks for all the nice comments not done much today on callout this weekend so heres few more pics... coolant and two stroke tanks now on and piped up.. two stroke pump set i hope lol lastly quick picture of the clocks,getting there slowly,fly wheel roughly set have spark i need to torque up flywheel with no chain on ? thanks for looking nigel

oh yes shes alive at last ive put front brakes on all blead up these will do untill i get my others refurbed oh yes she runs a few teathing problems no rev counter looks like its the cheep cable ive brought it works one minute and not the next,also right hand side float height incorrectly set quick strip down and now ok slight problem with ignition when you lock stearing lock and take key out idiot lights are on when you put it in park nothing,not sorted yet.. an last but not least a sad sight im under orders no more bikes in the dining room

Looks like it's coming on very nicely, Like the idea of the temp' petrol tank, very inventive, might nick that idea myself, I've been using a washing up bottle. Looks like you'll be on the road this summer.

Looks great and nearly finished for the spring.Hope to have mine running next dry weekend but had throttle slides in the wrong way round and wondered why it was running on one(amazed it ran at all).Keep up the great job.

well not much else done at the moment (work comitments) ive ran it up to temp a couple of times retorqued head when cold fitted new reflector and bracket,need new front sprocket lock tab before test ride also got to sort out ignition fault and rev counter hope not to be working this weekend so i can get everything tidied up tank on fueled up and quick shake down before mot.cheers nigel

quick update well its all in one piece now and was do an mot today anyway ran it up to temperature and noticed rad was cold oh sh%^^%$% anyway removed water impeller cover to discover impeller spinning freely so drained it all down removed clutch casing and the head off the impeller was loose on shaft good job ive a spare scary moment but missed out on mot until next saturday just be warned when buying second hand stuff from the bay this could of been nasty on newly built engine cheers nigel

NOOOOOOOO don't swap the wheels!! They look stunning! Original finish is so damn common. Original finish look good but, imo, it gets a bit boring in the end when everyone have them done like that. Oh well, it's your bike, your choice. Your bike will be sweet even if you decide to put other rims on but I must say I love it as it is now.
