They are just a wonderfull bike, iv got allsorts in my garage from superbikes to mopeds but the LC does something else for me.....you will be amazed at how many people swarm over your bike whenever you take it out..........everyone has an LC story and cant wait to share it with you. I think of mine as a time machine as i go back to the 80s every time i ride it. And dont worry about it not looking like new, just ride it and enjoy and improve it as you go. Keep smiling.

Hi Steve, Get her back on the road and then start doing her up. Was toying with the idea of slipping a Valve motor into her but after all the positive comments on here and off people who've seen her she'll be staying standard(ish).

Excuse my French but f**k ME. Why do I always vehicles that have had monkeys piss around with the electrics....took the battery box off today just out of instinct, before giving her a kick and found all the wires from the stator to the joining block had been cut and joined and were rubbing against the frame with out any form of insulation. Another job for the list.........

That looks like a nice bike, especially as its in the "ultra rare & faster" blue and white two stripe colour scheme.

Ok had her running the other day and had her moving under her own albiet with no brakes or pegs and in the ice . I really wasn't happy with the way the clutch felt and also the take up was very clunky to say the least. So decided to open her up and see what horrors lay beneath. Brand new pistons 1mm OS anb really nice in the bores barrels appear to have been ported a bit and the carb main jet is a 200. Clutch is all there but is ridged and has a fair bit of play in it. So out with the stone to clean the basket up a bit. Replaced the swing arm bush with one of Norbs, bit concerned that mine has no Shims but is a snug fit to line up. Bushs are a dodle to fit and top quality. I'm now awaiting my second box of bits from Norbo
