sounds like my first lc ,.would tick over fine ,rev up nicely in neutral but would f**k about under load. wouldnt rev above 5000. turned out to be the stator breaking down at high revs just a thought....... new stator bingo!!!! a mate had a similar prob on an mtx125.his turned out to b the stator. i have a very similar prob on a vt500,ive changed the stator but made no differance.i changed the cdi n problem was sorted.used it a few weeks n same prob only worse.put old cdi back on,and problem sorted again.something obv cooking my cdi's.may be worth you swapping the stator,if that doesnt work, try the cdi?

well here we go, seeing though you had carbs in bits so many time's , i presume that, the main jet brass washer is still where it should be as it could be that ? or anyone thought about crank seal, YES i know its had full re-build, but if your leaking the slightest if will run like ur using orange juice instead of pertol pmsl , it was just a thought, so there you go hope you sort it out, soon : )
