Just got another part through the post today....a nice complete rear mudguard off ebay from a breaker £25 including the reflector and bracket. Really nice nick. No scratches on the plastic etc. Just a buff up and ill remove the bracket to get rid of some surface rust. A bitof a roloc and polish and into the plating solution at the weekend.. It doesnt take much to keep me happy, ....its another small step to the goal........just looking forward to christmas for several more little surprises off the kids and the missus....

Well its christmas hols. Much eating and drinking and its persisting down outside..so the inclination to do anything id low. But i managed to complete my refle ctor bracket in ally. And got it rivited to the mudguard..and i drilled the new xmas gift numberplate and got that bolted in place. I did get chance to call around and see a fellow rd forum member this week ...denzil....good to meet you mate. liking your build Hope you manage to get your electrics sorted.

Looking good as usual Andy, your attention to detail is epic my friend. Still working on electrics at the moment thinking could be a fault with the stator at the moment even though ohms are reading ok? Thanks for everything.

am keen to use some of this in the colour scheme if possible,, perhaps instead of the white in a Kenny roberts colour scheme i can use this ally finish, or even chrome: AND THIS IS PAINT !!! and EVEN ONTO PLASTIC

this is the first stage work on a dash / panel in laser cut carbon fibre sheet, this first check has been CNCd into Di-Bond (3mm thick ally and plastic sandwich) The YPVS will be cut straight through and will have a yellow LCD clockmounted next to it. first test fit was ok.hopefully finished pics by the weekend.
