Hi all, sorry to post this again...... but, does anyone know how to get the threaded inserts out of F2 bars without wrecking the bars as i want to fit solid bar ends. Ta all / anyone. ;D

won't they knock further down the bars m8,just a thought as i don't have or know how they fit in f2 bars:-/

If they don't come out easy i'll have to get busy with a drill bit and a dremmel

if im correct...................and its a long time since i saw mine...........isnt the thread the screw goes into part of the bar itself

if im correct...................and its a long time since i saw mine...........isnt the thread the screw goes into part of the bar itself Yeah, kind of, it's been put in at the factory, but how it's held in i don't know. Think it may be friction welded in so might be a case of a drill and finish of with the dremmel or maybe able to put a piece of steel bar across the end of the bar with a hole in it so a bolt can be wound up and hopefully pull it out. When i'm feeling brave enough i may tackle it.

Bugger !! Mahoosive drill bit is then All this just to fit decent bars ends, Thanks for all the input guys, Norbo, if this goes ok i'll order some of yer shiney bar ends m8, If it all goes south, i'll order some new bars off yer
