Hi all, Has anyone thought of or had any inlet port flowing done on there LC? (not port timing) Only asking as a good engineer friend of mind has loads of experience with port flow / development and has a computer aided flow bench, so can exactly match both ports and give a full read out including cfm and volumetric efficiency both before and after modification. He has gained some impressive results with carefull modification of inlet ports / heads etc: on his race bikes. If anyone might be interested, just give me a pm and i'll put you in touch with him. ;D Cheers.

Having mine done as i write this, findings so far are as follows..... Although the inlets offer little restriction to flow, the ports do not match and there is as much as 10% difference between the two so just by matching these two by reshaping / smoothing will make a noticeable difference in engine response / idle / pick-up. Will almost surely have to re-adjust the carbs to suit, but will post the details / findings when all work is done
