I wish ;D Come back from there a few weeks ago, (got a sister in law who lives there so cheap break for me, the missus and the youngest) ) some great roads to be had out of the towns especially down to the Needles then across to newport then on to cowes ;D You won't need 4th and 5th gear lads, there's hardly any roads that can take'em Still wish i could make it though but got other plans gonna be a blast for those that do go, take loads of pics guys.

Heres a copy of the post on the aircooledRDclub forum 24th and 25th July For those who want a weekender you can come down saturday and I will arrange a new Forest campsite next to a pub in Ashurst and a afternoon/evening run to the chippy. Sunday we will do the Isle of Wight run going from Lymington to Yarmouth via wightlink ferrys We can catch the 09;25am ferry to get in Yarmouth by 10;05 to meet our tour guide. this puts on the nicer side if the island missing all the traffic in Ryde that we caught last year. Plus the ride to Lymington through the New forest is great. The plan for the sunday will be to meet at Rownhams services as last year then ride into the New forest to collect the campers and then through Beaulieu into Lymington to catch the ferry. Price for ferry £30 www.wightlink.co.uk/special-offers.aspx Camping £10 Campsite contact details Address of site: Ashurst Caravan Park and Camping Site Lyndhurst Road Ashurst Hampshire SO40 7AR Telephone: 02380 292097 E-mail: Ashurst.site@forestholidays.co.uk www.new-forest-national-park.com/ashurst-caravan-park-and-campsite.html Pub next to campsite. www.fullers.co.uk/rte.asp?id=4&itemid=185&task=View Bed and Breakfast near to campsite. www.asmere.com/ Or you can search for Hotels in Lyndhurst, there should be lots. Lyndhurst is approx 1 mile from Ashurst.
