Did anyone happen to read the May edition of Classic Bike? It has an article on the tidiest looking Yamaha 2-stroke I've seen in quite a while A guy from Brighton, (Nick Hadwen), has transformed an RD400E by fitting a Fahron water-cooled kit and a load of very tasteful modifications. Good article & a 1st class effort

I have a set of 440cc fahron barrels in my slightly modified rd400e as well lol. Seriously it did start as a 400e, I dreamt of owning one since being soundly thrashed by a guy on a fahron one when i was a lad, I'm still tempted to build the motor back in a 400e again. The last set of these barrels I saw sell was years back and they where over £1200.00 trully one of the rarest rd addons anywhere. I need a copy of this article it looks a real nice bike. Andy

I got a copy from the magazine man, that is a cool bike but they have a figure of 46 bhp as the power out put, I bet you can add 20 bhp to that.
