Evening all, this may sound an obvious question.... does the rear wheel run spot on in the centre of the swing arm on an F2? The reason i'm asking is this....Got some new cush rubbers off of Norbo (many thanks norbs) fitted them, put the wheel back in and lined up the adjusters to get it central and chain tension correct & when viewed from the back it all looked ok, so i measured the distance with verniers from the centre of one wheel spoke to the inside of the swing arm and with a bit of adjustment both sides read exactly the same, but when checking the axle adjuster alignement marks, the left one is about 1mm different from the right one. tbh, the chromed adjusters don't look like they are manufactured (stamped out)that well and i am thinking that the little V marks aren't that accurate. Does all this sound about right or am i just a fussy git? Thanks chaps for any light shed on this.

Hi Gadget. I very much doubt that any punch marks in swingarms are EXACTLY the same mate..........or the silver things exact Only way to get the run exact is to use the laser thing u can buy

Hi m8, yeah i suspect you're right about the punch marks & lines in the swing arm, they don't look the best manufactured parts ever made I have got the wheel centre exactly in the middle of the swing arm though using a set of digital vernier calipers, probably overkill i know but hey...what price perfection eh! ;D Cheers for the input m8, ps. Any news on the bank holiday run yet?
