hi everyone ive an lc 350 frame but the frame numbers are only just visible with no paint and when i apply 1 coat they virtually dissapear,should i restamp or apply paint then wetdry to reveal numbers any help please nigel

id apply 1 lighter coat of paint so the paint covers the steel frame,the paint will naturaly sink into the numbers making them visable from a angle,you may have to look hard but they will be there. powder coat on the other hand will most defenetly hide them mind.

don't restamp them, they'll look altered!
You could put some masking tape over them, then paint it, remove the masking tape then clear laquer that area to show the numbers but stop it rusting!
Also photo them before you start - switch the flash off on the camera, then get a torch, very near the frame at an angle so it makes the numbers cast a shadow, then take the picture, you may have to have a bit of a play around!
