This has to be the most stolen bike I have ever come across, As well know some times we have debates about if we think a set of numbers have been restamped on some frames or casings. But I think you will all agree this is the worst restamp job I have ever seen and leaves you in know doubt that this is a stolen bike and the V5 with the bike has no relation to the bike it is being sold with . The casing numbers are just as bad stamped on a smooth ground face. The worst thing about it is this pile of stolen crap was up for just under £1500 .

I bought my first 350 brand new in 1980 from Hamiltons in Chester Le Street. The next year I turned it into a proddie racer spending a fortune to live the dream. At that time half the bikes in the paddock had numbers like these (or non at all ). I was always on the back heel financially and gave up after two seasons due to lack of funds. Of course the ones with the nicked bikes carried on racing as the bikes were free. Never got my head round the way people knew it was going on but accepted the people doing it.

Certainly can't with Bemsee, obviously tampered numbers = no racing, no numbers and you have to have a good reason why not backed up with evidence. That applys for both engine and frame. Sure most other racing clubs are following the same procedure.
I'm not saying it doesn't go on with ringed bikes, but the days of iffy numbers are well over

My mate races an R6 and he says its really strict. So it should be. All stolen engines go in road bikes now, or go karts
