Hi Gang I might as well start the thread now 🤣 as I can’t keep my hands off it After nearly dropping the bike out the back of van due to being alone and the bike having no rear end 🙈I fitted a donor for now I managed to save it but tore a muscle in the back of my leg 🥹  The plan was to build it as is and get it registered but as of yet Dillon hasn’t found the nova  So the new plan is to build it straight onto the Uk matching numbers donor 👌  It’s in such good original condition it would be a crime to restore it all  Only the essentials will be done,i,e paintwork,brakes,forks etc  Plenty of new parts came with it including a complete engine set of seals  Amazing I degreased the Uk frame and it’s virtually perfect so I’ll leave it as is 👌  The donor cases have already been vapour blasted painted and lacquered,even the switches are too good to touch  For sub £4K I’m a happy bunny,albeit in pain 🥹 Matt 🐻🐶🐶 |

Well I was taking a picture of under the tank and spotted this,,you can just about see it’s not in fully  The red wire from the loom was hanging out  Replaced with a new crimp  New battery and everything works fine 👌  Happy days and a possible headache avoided 😵💫 Matt 🐶🐻🐶 |

Still struggling with the leg so just ticking along  Started cleaning and swapping the good parts onto the Uk bike    Also getting ready to rebuild the engine  A couple of parts will need powder or paint but only if necessary Cheers Matt 🐻🐶🐶 |

Bit more done 👍 So I didn’t make the old rookie mistake,I replaced the air filter and popped the air box into the frame 😉  Treated the bike to a new lift handle  Got the engine out and on the bench ready for rebuilding  Popped an mph speedo into the cluster  Removed all the rest of the parts from the German frame  Need to clean up again now 🫣 Matt 🐶🐻🐶 |
