You have beautiful crows! I love that you know what a happy caw sounds like. Keep us updated about how things are going. I will, the diligence he shows and the intelligence he has is remarkable. I'm doing my best to make sure he gets a good feast and stash of things for when I can't see him. They like unsalted red peanuts and love diced mature cheddar right now.

In the blue tit nest, the first chick has hatched today between 12.15 and 12.30. Mrs. T. has started bringing in food for them.
Also, I love red peanuts and mature cheddar. I wonder if I'm actually 5 crows in a trench coat?

I like both red peanuts and cheddar too but I read somewhere, don't eat the crows food, they don't like it. So I have to have the odd peanut on the quiet. 😂

Not exactly sure what's happening with the crows, Mr has been up in the nest popping down but latterly, he has been spending longer with us. However, he still flies back up to the nest so being optimistic, I'm hoping there is something in the nest. The young ones stay there for a good few days being fed before leaving for what should be a safer environment, time will tell. Anyway, here he is with his water bowl, he sometimes drinks from it and often tips it up to gather the water from the floor 😂 It will only be visible to 2 days but that's probably long enough for the regulars. streamable.com/a6x9ziGood to see the Bluetits are coming along, one was using it's beak to scratch under it small wing.
