That's a beautiful looking motorbike It's built for one purpose and there's nothing on it that doesn't need to be there. I have the catalogue for the complete 1999 Honda range that I picked up at the NEC and the race bikes are near the back. The 125, 250, 500 four and the 500 twin. All in these colours. If you was to buy one though they come in plain white I guess Honda would say the paint doesn't need to be there My mate started his road racing career on one. Much older than this though. He had some good dices with the Lowes brothers at Elvington on their RS. Whatever happened to those two? Did they do any good?

I lied. It's the 1998 brochure I have. I blame old age.

..just imagine how many bikes Honda would sell if this exact line up was reintroduced.

I'd have the RS125, 250 and the NSR500V. Cheers.
I'm going to set myself the task of remembering the top Honda road bike from 1998 now without looking. I guess it will be the 1998 Blade.
I have a Yamaha one a bit earlier I think with the Thunderace as the top road machine. Shall dig it out. I'm almost sure it has both the TZR250 and the F2 valve.
