I can only imagine the face at the post office when you turned up last week with all those boxes Al. Must have been a picture. Nearly as good as all the smiley faces at our end excitedly opening them up. Top man John.

Not as bad as when I turned up with about 40 float height gauges letters plus about another 15 parcels
I tongue in cheek I asked for proof of post and their face was a picture but could not be that cruel
Best wishes Al

<snip about leak down kit> Any questions or if you wanted to place a reservation just PM me. Best wishes and ride safe Al Thank you so much! I used it today. First time I have ever done a leak down test. Leaks... Leaks galore... all around the intake rubbers and reed cages. 6psi to 0 in about 8 seconds. To be clear... this is an engine I have been using on the road for a month or so, albeit never taking it much over 8k revs. MUCH, cleaning, gasket cutting, and goo spreading later, I have a reduction from 6psi to 3 psi over 7 minutes, (I got bored), and I cant detect any bubbles in the soapy mess with which I covered the engine. Good enough? No idea. But much better. How many of those little nip ups over the years have been caused by a little inlet air leak. Again. Thank you! If you hadn't made these, and posted on here, I'd still be in the dark. I really wish I knew this all those years ago when I was running, (and regularly melting), an X7 with Nitrous Oxide Ray.

The inlet rubbers are often the site of air leaks. I used brand new rubbers on a previous build but left off the 2 clips for the cross over tube (I was waiting for new ones to arrive). Instant leak from both sides, even though the tube seemed a tight fit in the new blocks. Fitted the new clips and the leaks stopped! I always use genuine gaskets with some 3bond applied when fitting the reed blocks, and never had a leak from them. Al's kit will certainly save a few seizures I'm sure Dusty

The key on the crank for the primary drive gear is a good bet for a leak

Best wishes Al
