With the price of chroming, wouldn't stainless be similar price or is it expensive stainless sheet metal ? I do live in a bubble ! 0.7mm 316L stainless is about £25 a square metre at the moment. All stainless exhausts I've seen use 304 stainless which is a lower grade and cheaper. I would estimate the same mild steel at £10 or less. A set of exhausts wouldn't take much more than a square metre. I don't think the cost of materials would be the biggest factor. The manufacture and welding process on stainless requires a bit more skill and time than mild steel so that's were the problem lies. Also stainless is much more prone to cracking than MS. A lot of the problems and hence price increases associated with chrome are down to regulations regarding use and disposal of the chemicals. I don't suppose the Chinese worry about such things. The chroming thing would make manufacturing in stainless more attractive in this country but probably not so much in countries that have a looser set of regulations shall we say.

anybody had a set of these tested on a dyno, I keep being asked by people, but I've not had a set through the door, so don't know, just curious if they work or not, or are just noise makers ........

I think they will just be noise makers Also think they are too new to have been dyno'd When I started this thread a few weeks ago they had just appeared with 6 pairs listed I bought the 6th pair today Purely for the look as my next LC build looks like it will be a bit retro looking Also thought a set of 350lc designed pipes may work ok if I use a 250 ypvs motor. Was concerned 350 ypvs pipes would not work If I was nearer and you had a test bike... Steve

The key geometric features suggest they will look great and work ‘fine’…😂 a nice retro looking ‘short can allspeed’ alternative… don’t think anyone would be expecting anything stunning performance wise from a simple two cone and belly section configuration, but it still would be good to see some real numbers… particularly if they were back to back with stock pipe and aforementioned allspeed.

They look good. I personally would want them a bit shorter - like small can Allspeed length, but that's me. I like the design of the cans- more Micron in looks Dusty

Aye, the look of them is the selling point, as like allspeeds are not performance based, but period looks . Cost difference between these and speeds, if they likely work the same, will kill stinkwheels sales.

Hmmm 🤔
Couple of things bother me in that pic
First of all, is there something going on with the tank on that bike
Secondly, is it my Magoo eyes or are they fitted to the outside of the hanger
