Haha... Ive ridden a 748, so I can say that I'd happily stick a 916 on my wall as the riding position wasnt for me but its such a beautiful thing... unlike the GPZ lol FWIW There was a subtle joke in my comment, but maybe too subtle?

Minimal suspension travel, with masses of lateral stress on the bearings exacerbated by the dynamics of how a motorcycle turns and stops. Nope wouldn’t trust that. The bearings must wear at a phenomenal rate. No discernible benefits and the weight on the rim not central.

Great piece of engineering, but at the expense of not a nice look.

If thats all steel then it'd also be heavy and while interesting looking (ie 'not normal') the unsprung weight would be immense.
Looks like it has 6 bearings and is quite a clever design as it looks like it all turns, but doesnt etc. I like the thought behind it, but getting that to track straight must have been fun as well, maybe has side acting bearings in the hub as well? hmm...
I assume it has a fork leg each side? I think it'd need it for the weight and the side of the leg shown, but interesting it didnt need a 2nd caliper.
I do like to see 'different' and someone spent a lot of time on this. I wonder how it rides?
