on my last 125lc i was going to fit the 3 spoke wheels off a late 2rk tzr125 with the rear disc conversion and 17" front wheel,completly differenr to your cafe' racer idea saying that,a nice base for a project any way mate

my mate trevor in the early 90s did a cafe racer style brill really quick i had his old 10w y1 barrel from that engine that was tuned by jerry pell it run a yz125h piston kit single ring/flat top exhaust port the power band came in with a bang also the carb was/is a 32mm vm round slide still got this carb also run a 47x con rod kit and a allspeed it was like it had a micron on then trevor run a big bore version 175cc with a swarbrick pipe could of been more cc who knows but trevor said the exhaust port on the big bore needed lifting /making taller by 3mm to 4mm then make the exhaust port wider also run full fairing clip ons then trevor even put a 250 crosser engine into a dt 125 lc mk1 frame trevor pulled all nighters even i went round them some times 3 times a week at 12/1/2 am in the morning also the big bore set up run a rd400e little end bearing think carbs were 28/32mm vm round slides

Got the bike and the docs now! But the chassis number starts 1E84***** Any ideas??? post up a picture mate,does it match the v5 ?

if you google 1e8 it comes up with an rd200dx
