Extended news I may add. A cat was rescued from a tree in Colnbrook and that made me so happy I'm going to have a party.
Apparently something else happened but I was so glad to hear about the cat I didn't notice.

Years ago we had a cat that was an accomplished hunter. Rabbits, rats and once brought a stoat home! Never saw her with fledglings , she must of considered them too easy. Lived to a ripe old age, 20yrs old (if the age we were told she was when we acquired her, was correct.)

Sometimes alive and flying/running around the kitchen, sometimes a bloody mess. He's not big or tough enough to take on a rabbit although my mates female cat is much smaller but regularly brings home rabbits.

Alex We didn't bother looking at any news from the UK while we were away but some Spanish guy behind the counter told us about BJ going when he realised we were English. Why would he be keeping up to date with British politics?

One of my favourite soups is turnip and horseradish and the there is roast beetroot in beef fat. Yummy. Got rid of the veg patch when I got rid of the chickens. However it is only temporary they both will eventually be back.

Why would he be keeping up to date with British politics? At a guess I'd say he watched the news every day and saw it. It was a significant event and would have been news headlines in every country. Except perhaps North Korea...where cats stuck in trees is another thing altogether. Alex
