Wtf, you think fuel for your cars bikes etc has increased. I normally pay between £0.39 to £0.45 pr litre. Just ordered 1000 litres. It was £1.09 pr litre. Nearly £1100 to fill my tank ffs. What’s everyone else paying?

In march Certas quoted us 120.30 for 500l but it came down a bit to 103.74 on delivery which is the price we paid. I couldn’t bring myself to buy 1000l at that price. Fortunately we have solar panels on the old feed in tariff which is about 56p so we get around £750 back a year on that which offsets the oil cost.

Thing is I know it was more expensive and generally in summer it’s cheaper, I just think is it going back up? I’ll start using the log burners later in the year to heat the house. I’m lucky that most of the house was couple years ago re insulated so it retains warmth well.
