Rolled the 350 out of the garage for the first time today since the rebuild started; 20230407_124019 by dusty miller, on Flickr 20230407_123815 by dusty miller, on Flickr Getting there now. Last few bits to buy - chain, 3 x brake lines and a seat cover. I recently treated her to a new Yamaha rad cover and new genuine oil lines. I also bought a new Yam throttle cable from Fowlers. Last one I bought was approx £104.00 if I remember correctly. Surprised to pay £82 this time with free postage !! Not often the prices drop !! Dusty

Not had much spare time recently, but did make time today to fire her up for the first time since the rebuild; 20230507_111750 by dusty miller, on Flickr I bled the pump prior to today, and the oil is now getting to the carbs via the pipes, so I can do away with the premix auxilliary tank and fit the new fuel tank for the first time. The metallic rattling you can here is the pads in the front calipers ! Need to get some lines made up and some pressure behind the pistons !! Pleased to say no fuel or oil leaks anywhere, and even the exhaust manifolds are clean Dusty

Hi mate The rear master is Ypvs . The R6 version is identical in size and shape, and apart from having "Brembo" in raised lettering rather than the 3 grooves og the Pv item, would bolt on and work in the same way. I had an R6 Brembo master on the orange hybrid; 20170915_171206 by dusty miller, on Flickr May be around Wednesday afternoon. Depends on weather and work commitments Dusty I do like those 3spokes in the LC. Have you got a full side on pic ?

Hi John Hope you are good mate It's a day away if I had the parts. Just a chain, 3 brake lines and a seat cover to finish. Time is what I dont get a lot of now unfortunately, and I've lost the impetus if I'm honest. Look forward to your progress though Dusty

I've lost the impetus if I'm honest. Dusty Admire the openness mate, very on trend, but you do know that you can get tablets for that these days right ?

Finally got my act together today, and mocked up some front brake lines for length and Banjo orientation; 20230907_152013 by dusty miller, on Flickr Then it was down to "Think Automotive" who are a couple of miles from me. They deal in Aeroquip hoses and make them while you wait. After a chat, we decided on a swivel type fixing at the caliper end which gives better clearance against the caliper bolt than a banjo fixing would have - the banjo would come into contact with one of the bolts holding the caliper halves together, meaning I would have had to angle them outwards and that would look a bit odd; 20230907_151931 by dusty miller, on Flickr 20230907_151918 by dusty miller, on Flickr Also ordered a 520 chain from Biketorque Racing. Gonna whip the wheel out on Saturday, apply the rest of the rim decals, then fit the chain; 20230907_151945 by dusty miller, on Flickr Dusty

Great to see this one nearer to completion Dusty. I'll be using the same brake hose chaps as they are rather good.

Cheers Measured up the rear brake line this morning. Hopefully get that made this week; 20230910_133034 by dusty miller, on Flickr I allowed myself the luxury of getting the bike out onto the drive again (2 days running !! ) to mock up the brake line in the sunshine. Found a long forgotten project bike under a sheet too; 20230910_114632 by dusty miller, on Flickr 20230910_114436 by dusty miller, on Flickr Back under the sheet for another 5 years
