Are TSA still around? I've sent an email but had no response as i want some other end cans. Are there any other options for 200mm carbon end cans??

You can easily cut down the ally Tyga units, its 3 or 5 rivets drilled out, the tube and baffle shortened to desired length then rivet back together I have done this type of thing on many a 2 and 4 stroke exhaust.

I'm thinking of going for norbos tz style carbon or carbon keeler 250mm ones and cutting them down but don't really want to do that if there are alternatives

I was thinking longer cans with the tz style exit pipes might help with that

It could be expedient to slip on wee extender tubes to the 'cans' exh outlets.

I don't do carbon cans, they are too prone to cracking, breaking and coming loose - which equals lots of come backs and complaints, so I just avoid carbon cans

Yeh after reading above I think carbon could be a problem. Still can't find 200mm cans in any material. So cutting down looks like the option

Steve I've not heard back from the email I sent yet. Looks like he's not been on here since March?? I really want the style of end caps as the above picture too.

Swarbrick used to do them. I had a set on my R1-Z in carbon and zero complaints.

I can make you 200mm cans, I can make any length upto 300mm, but I don't do the angled end, mine have a flute on them, if I get chance I'll take a picture of some tomorrow, but I am mega busy at the moment, so might not get chance

TSA Kenny is a great guy and hope hes ok. As for Carbon cans will have these problems as I have mentioned before as the lower aluminum spigot isnst "usually long enough" to support the weight of the end can depending on the lenght of the can. then wear around the rivets ect ...... I had this back in 2011 on my bike and also took a video of a Aprillia RS485 with tyga cans in 2011 which wore out in less than 100 miles I fixed my bike at "Tractor Teds in Ramsey " just to get me home. once back home I fitted a "P" clilp and support strap and not had a problem since have had this on several other customers bikes all with different carbon cans Basically its the weight of the end can and the length of it on the rivets, similar to "force of moments" carbon cans might look good but........... Best regards Johnny C

Kenny answered the email. He doesn't do the tz style exit pipes and doesn't have any carbon cans in stock. I think I'll give the carbon a miss anyway after reading the comments about them. I can't believe no one does or will do the tz pipes.
