high every one picked up my first 350lc in nearly 35years at the weekend. VERY HAPPY man this will be the first of many questions I suspect. the front of the seat seems slightly lower than pics I’ve seen on other 350lcs and when I sit on it the back seems to lift higher away from the tail piece.
It clips down in place ok on both sides and does not move around at all. It has the u shaped part attached to the front underside of the seat which I’m guessing slides under the bolt at the back of the fuel tank
id be very great full if any one could find the time to show a picture or two of there bike with the seat removed including the rear of the fuel tank area.
also anyone with an LC in the Cheltenham area
many thanks

Hi Has the seat been recovered ? If so, and the new cover has been pulled too tight, it can bend the plastic base and stop a good fit against the rear cowl. The front fork on the seat does fit under the tank mount as you've guessed. Th tank mount should be flat in profile, but I have seen them bent, which will affect the tank/seat join; 20150616_102959 by dusty miller, on Flickr 20161210_171019 by dusty miller, on Flickr Hth Dusty

Many thanks Dusty That is so helpful and I believe your knowledgeable first guess must be correct. I can only assume it’s where the seat has been recovered Thank you for finding the time for both taking the pictures and posting them. I’m really enjoying my five day ownership of an LC and may even consider buying another. Though a bit more special this time Thanks Dan
