Bought some std 4l0 exhausts for my rd350lc
R/H fitted straight on no issues.
L/H does fit, but the rear bolt on the hanger is a struggle to get through the elongated slot, i can get it in by loosening the 2 foot peg hanger bolts.
But when i tighten everything up the exhaust touches the swinging arm. I can loosen manifold bolts of, rear exhaust nut, and i can turn the pipe away 1/4inch from swinging arm, but i hold it then try and tighten it,it swings back
Any advice, exhaust is the correct one, cant see anything obvious

Have you checked the mounting bracket to see if it's slightly bent? Any road rash on the pipes might confirm this.

pipe as no physical damage, i have bent the bracket slightly myself, trying to force end of pipe away from swinging arm.
But when i tighten, it moves back and touches

It could possibly be the hanger brakets are bent, Do the hangers run straight/inline front to back, might be easy to see from the rear of the bike and compare each side??? There was a similar thread on here a little while ago I think.

might be the exhausts have been cut and shut to remove a broken baffle and they have not aligned the 2 halves before welding them back together - seen that a lot recently, check the wleds carefully and see if one is different to the rest, normally middle weld or one of the 2 either side of the mid section
