Well looks like the link works but still struggling to copy pictures directly into a posting, Anyway I went for a quick steady test ride on her and my expectations have been exceeded, it feels so much better than the standard bike, brakes are brilliant, handling feels much improved (only a steady ride today), solid planted feel to the bike now, lots of effort and hours to complete the conversion but worth it, if other hybrids work as well as this I see what the fuss is about, it feels as "right" as my NS or from memory a TZ whereas before it felt just ok. photos.app.goo.gl/2Ne82kVX1DpfSepR6

That looks lovey well done on the nice build, the F2 always suits a modern upgrade. What parts did you use for the update, I used bandit 400 parts in mine and well chuffed with the results.

Hi
Thanks Chris, The bits are a combination of FZR400 forks and swingarm with TZR wheels, I'm not 100 % sure which model but I think they're from a Belgarda 125, I wanted twin discs so looked for wheels with the mounting on both sides (would you believe I got the pair for £30 🙂), the forks were difficult to sort out because they're off a rare model 1WG 3EN2 but I liked the fact that they're rwu and 41mm so are not going to flex and give good feedback for front end feel, Cheers
PS the wheels are very light feeling like half the weight of the originals and the calipers are R1

Nice work! That’s a muddle of parts so I can see the effort put in to get the end result. Good it’s all yammy parts.
