addresspollution.org/
Just checked the pollution levels outside my house and got 72%
We live on a main road but not in a city, so seems pretty bad
We could do a poll on who is lowest and who is highest
If I start my LC up and light the wood burner I might get in the 80's !!

I live in the very outer edge of London Borough Bromley. Probably because of the airport up the road it read 39. I thought it would be lower.

I get a 64 on the addresspollution website and a 2 from the bbc link. Can't see how the score of 64 can be correct for here - this house is 200 yards down a drive from a road that has a 7.5 tonne weight limit and in a 20mph zone, with woodland and 80 acres of farmland between the rear garden and motorway which is about a mile away.

I'm a great believer in trying to lessen your carbon footprint and offsetting your own impact. Heating hasn't been on since last year (true) I dont use internal combustion engine garden tools, and I haven't been on a purely pleasure bike ride for 5 yrs. I also hold my farts in like women do, I realise how damaging methane can be. I do offset all these efforts to be green though....by burning a tyre every week in the back garden, which should bring me up to a zero carbon score.....

When i tested this site I saw that directly after it offered links to complain about the pollution and 'demand action'.
I wonder if the numbers are pretty randomly generated and designed to make you think its bad and take action etc.

So if you live halfway up a mountain you are still sitting in smog, according to the first one !

24. I live in a village of about 20 houses six miles from Hull. In the last half an hour while I've been sitting here in the garden with a cup of tea I would say maybe four cars have gone past.

Someone is spreading cow shite on the fields down wind from our house...it reeks a tad. Let's see those clever bas4rds work on that score..... I daren't light a fookin match outside out of fear of creating a methane fireball... (UK gov might beat me to the fireball though, by getting us neuced first....)

Is rush hour a horse and a cart? Alex Funny you say that as a woman on one of those racing type one person horse drawn carts went past just the other day. Like the ones you see when travellers are racing on some industrial estate on TV.

I came home tonight to a line full of washing that all stinks of smoke. We live about 6 minutes by car from the tip but some selfish lazy tw@t would rather we wash all the stuff again than him take his garden crap to the tip. Luckily for him the smoke had just about cleared when I got home so I couldn't be sure who it was but I suspect it was the guy across the road who I've had words with before. I have heard he's got prostrate cancer so he might be going up in smoke before too long. A bit much?

I'm not allowed to discuss the matter with them says the Mrs. as we need them to feed the cats when we go on holiday. Having them put down and buy two new ones when we get back home was not an acceptable solution apparently 😂
