Any one fitted/used these tyres? Had a mad moment and ordered a pair rather than go for the Bridgestone/Avon option. Hope I have not made a mistake here. They look like the old TT100s.

When I bought my Z650 the previous owner had fitted K82 tyres which do look the part but I was not impressed with the handling so fitted a pair of Avon Roadriders which transformed it. OEB

I have K82s on my Norton and no problems (19s back and front). Period tyre for the old bus
Only ever ran BT45s on the Yam so unable to compare

Probably suit an old Brit bike but look so wrong on an LC, bought a 250F a few years ago that had them on but I changed them straight away so can’t really comment on how they ride , they just look so “ off road like “ ..

Off road style tyres are a fashion accessory in the modern 'Custom" and "Cafe Racer' world. Maybe that's the intended purpose of K82s. Not my thing at all!

Have to agree the front looks a bit strange but so far (100 miles or so) the grip and stability is excellent.

Ultimately it comes down to how does it feel? I’m guessing the compound of a new K82 is very different to an old TT100 and some of the reviews are positive with regards road holding etc even being used by some classic racers. Does it look slightly dated even compared to a roadrider or battlax yes, is it doing the job well it appears to as per above. Wouldn’t worry too much about it if you’re happy. 👍

Good tyres. Were popular in Switzerland on RD125LCs, I've ridden them, they feel fine. They also don't deteriorate over the years if that matter. I have them on bikes from early to mid 2000s, where as the Metzlers see some cracking in side walls. Still a popular tyre in Malaysia today , I think they love the classic look.
