Anybody fitted any of these and had issues? I have fitted these before with no issues on other bikes and the quality is very good but brake lever does not allow rear brake light micro switch to operate. I am thinking I will have to fit a brake line pressure switch to over come this.

The easy way would be to buy an original brake lever. The mechanical brake switch can activate the brake light before pressure is applied.

Two points:
Unless i have missed the point completely, always a possibility!
1. Why does the lever not operate the brake light switch, are the levers not designed for this bike?
2. You say the quality is very good, so kinda answered your own question.
I know plenty of people on this forum have and do use Chinese levers and swear by them but, personally i would rather use a known brand for something so critical.

I’m with mouse on this, however I’ve compared by look and feel cheap Chinese and expensive European ones. Rarely esp today can I see a difference. You also have to wonder where lots of the expensive ones are made? Are they made in the same factory? I’m not an engineer nor metallurgist just a curious western buyer However the prospect of a brake lever shearing under heavy braking makes me shudder.

Be vary careful with these super cheap knock off levers, especially the brake levers.
The dimensions are surprisingly critical and can lead to some pretty lethal situation including brake failure or locking on.
A friend had a set on his R1. They seemed ok and worked at slow speed. Once on track, the front locked up as fluid was unable to return to the master cylinder. Back to the stock lever and problem resolved.

My opinion reflects the others here. If it doesn't do one of the two things it is supposed to do (operate the brakes and operate the brake light), then the quality is obviously not good. Implementing a complex solution involving plumbing a pressure switch to overcome a simple problem that could be solved by getting the correct part in the first place doesn't sound like the suggestion of a sane person.

I have them on my LCs and they work perfectly. The clutch lever had to be slimmed down about 0.5mm, but that was all I had to do to make them fit.

I think I’ve sorted it. I have a YPVS master cylinder fitted and the levers are different which explains the different thickness of the pivot, the switch location .
