After spending the last 12 months or so debating what to swap in my current MT10 for I’ve at last done the deal. Tried the kawasaki ZH2, Ducati streetfighter, BMW S1000R, KTM 1290 and even a Hayabusa. All were great bikes but for various reasons (cost, insurance, servicing) I have decided to go for an MT10SP! Rather than wait for the new model and end up back on PCP I’ve gone for a 19 plater, which means I can maintain it myself without affecting the warranty. Plus all the goodies can go straight onto the new one. I’ve loved the three years on my current one but the dayglo orange wheels and Matt paint just look tired now, plus I like a shiny bike! Pick it up next Saturday.

Looks very good too. When I got my bike, it was about the only bike in the showroom that caught my eye. Did have a few nice carbon bits on as well though, and not too pricey either.

Took delivery last Saturday but had covid, so out on it for a few hours today. Feels great, the suspension is miles better on anything from rutted roads to smooth tarmac.
