At what point do you begin to think you might have a problem? John

Depends if they have dodgy engine numbers or not John 😁

All good numbers Veg though none of them match the frame I have Brand new banshee cases have no numbers at all, though not bothered one bit as they came from a top member on here. Building 3 of them as main engine, spare engine for when I blow the main one, bonkers engine for when I feel the need and the others just in case. Just spent the afternoon sorting cranks, gearboxes and barrels. Should have just stuck to my Commando lol John

Little easier to work on than the commando, and no shimming any anti vibe malarkey, no triplex primary drive chains and no pushrod tube leaking.

You know you have a problem when you enter a room and there’s a circle of family members sat with one spare seat and you are invited to sit down… Until that point…crack on !

What problem?, I only see a pension fund.
Looks like you've addressed the braking prob on one bike..... Hopefully mine is coming "home" this year for re commissioning

Hopefully mine is coming "home" this year for re commissioning Yes Steve After shitting myself one time too many, I addressed the woeful nay non-existent brake on the Norton and fitted something a bit more re assuring. Not the prettiest but it does work remarkably well. I also sleeved the front master cylinder down to 1/2" which made a massive difference. Plenty of engine braking helps too John

is that a big dirty Jota or Mirage sitting on the left?? Yes it is. 3CL model which Laverda designated all 1000 triples as (L is with alloy wheels of course) Fitted with 180 crank, 4c cams, 10:1 h/c pistons, Witt ignition and free flow large bore exhaust. A dirty old beast indeed. Got some new mods on their way too which I’ll put in the diesel section soon John 😉

Some people collect stamps or coins. If it was a stamp collection it would be pretty poor to be fair. I mean you've only got four bikes that I can see. You can use that one with the Mrs. if you want 😃

Shoes is a good one. You've always got the reply "you can only wear one pair of shoes at a time" when they come at you with "why do you have so many bikes when you can only ride one at a time?" Then you've also got the counter of "the bikes are different for different types of riding" to the "different types of shoes for different occasions" argument. Unless you have two or three LC's

Unless you have two or three LC's Bikes are an increasing solid gold investment and can be sold in the future to buy more shoes and handbags is a good one, obviously tongue in cheek. Like your ever going to trade a bike in for shoes and/or handbags
