Is their a sight glass ala the 350LC so you can see the slide is fully opening as well?
Thanks muchly

Hi, No, the sight glass is to balance the carbs on a 350. if you look into a single carb you can see if it opens fully....

Can you clarify my thinking, took the carb off this 80 today, was full of green varnish from old(pre E10!) petrol. Im correct in thinking middle screw would be for idle adjustment and screw towards airbox end is the air screw? Alos, would you know if the tank should have a rubber to support it, this screw seems a little out of place and there is a small amount of movement up/down. Thanks.

Yeah middle one for tickover/idle adjustment, look down where the slide goes you should see it showing through, same as a bigger lc. And yeah you have the rear rubber mount missing I’ll try and find a photo of what you’re looking for.
